Developmental Disorders

Empowering Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

We proudly offer services to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living full, independent lives. Through DDA-funded services, we help people access the care, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive at home, at work, and in the community.

What Is the DDA?

The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) is a division of the Maryland Department of Health that provides funding and oversight for services that support children and adults with developmental disabilities. DDA’s mission is to promote inclusion, independence, and self-determination through person-centered planning and community-based supports.

Services We Help Coordinate

Who Is Eligible?

Eligibility is based on a diagnosis of a developmental disability and a demonstrated need for support. Individuals must apply through the DDA and complete an assessment process. Once approved, a Coordinator of Community Services (CCS) will help develop a customized plan and connect families with appropriate providers.

Your Partner in Possibility

Navigating DDA services can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to do it alone. Our team is here to guide you through the application process, develop a person-centered plan, and ensure you or your loved one receives the support needed to live a meaningful life.
